interview 2: the saga continues

the second interview went astonishingly well today.as it was the head cheeze, i was scared shitless.i will know monday for sure, BUT... and i quote:"unless Francis Ford Coppola walks in, you are pretty much guaranteed the job"so, mr copola... STAY AWAY - i need $$$ more than you!i'm trying not to get too excited, until i hear from them on monday....i never thought monday would EVER be a day i looked forward to [who knew?]

the interview yesterday went swimmingly! i soooooo want this job!and guess what else: i came home to a message on my machine calling me backfor a second interview with the head cheese today...apparently, they're afraid of someone else scooping me up & away from them.heh. what they don't know won't hurt them...so, whatever you had crossed for me yesterday, please please please...CROSS IT AGAIN! whatever you kids did worked wonders![ooh, if you need reimbursement for the virgins & goat's blood, i'll pay ya back if i get the job!]the child support thingee went incredibly well yesterday as well!we were able to figure out something that will work for the both of us - phew!

i have an interview monday with the people i wrote about previously!suh-weet! and right after that i have child a support hearing downtownin order to ACTUALLY get some child support![keep your fingers crossed]woot!

i am happily re-connected to the internet... and applying for jobs again like mad.[i think it might have been good for me to take a break, in order to start with renewed vigor]i got a response about 5 seconds [ok, more like 5 minutes] after sending in my resumeto one of the places, from a REAL person, not an auto-responder... I promptly emailed herback saying that no, i wouldn't be bored & that yes, i AM interested in the job and YES they can afford me. sweet. hopefully i hear back from them again tomorrow....tomorrow i get to get back to the sitting room site, as i ran into the owner @ larry's & got thepictures for the site from him RIGHT THEN! sweet! the pics are ever-so cool!ooh, and went to the chiropractor again today & got to discuss my x-rays... boy oh boy ismy spine ever fucked. but it will be nice to eventually be able to get up in the morning withoutback pain, debilitating headaches or difficulty walking... YAY for combatting old age!and i'm still enjoying wearing bras that are actually my size, rather than 2 cup sizes too small.[i had no idea that it wasn't a given that bras break down within a month -- not to mention constant adjusting]suh-weet! big boobie bras rock! realizing that my boobies are actually quite large, rocks LOBSTER!

still haven't gotten my router...apparently they forgot to order it... it should be here tomorrow.yay for internet-reconnectedness!in other news... i found out something COOL @ victoria's secret!got measured, as i haven't done that since i first started wearing bras& found out - wait take a deep breath - are you ready?i'm a double-D! woo-hoo! [no wonder i was trashing bras within a month]sheesh, i was wearing two sizes too small! wel, as you may have gathered...i was pretty thrilled with the news [no longer will i have boobie envy]ok, onward... had a buddy visit me from canada this weekend... there was much drunkendebauchery to be had... as well as a chance to see sol's lovely place[and discover i'm even shorter than HIM] why oh why did we have to take offour big boots? yes, i'm shorter than i imagined - leg extensions here i come!saw tony... and as always, he was ever so lovely. got to see sol's buddy again, tim [i had forgotten his name - oops]. i was surrounded by pretty pretty pretty boys, i'm not sure the weekend could get much better than that.but wait, there's more!saturday i met up with mat, erica, ede & loren for a lovely night @ the vogue, had a blast, looked hot & was ready to kill some obnoxious white t-shirt people in jeans & t-shirts trying to 'dirty dance'... take that shit somewhere else my friend... eeewwas tired, so we all decided to head to mine, rather than off to the merc.ended up gabbing most of the night... & woke up to ede @ the door with crepes & yummy chopped fruits for everyone [awww, what a guy]. yes, ede you rock the casbah! you can come spend a weekend of debauchery @ mine anytime.oh, there's more, that happened today while i visited erica in anacortes, but i'm too lazy to type anymore. ugh. better spellcheck this bad-boy & head off to spend some time with mat, he's lovely & bare in his karate pants over on the couch... looking rather inviting i might add...nighty-night kittens.

friday night...

went to see la boheme last night... it was absolutely lovely![especially since i wasn't wearing any underwear - heh]perhaps i'll see the lot of you tonight? not sure what we'reup to this evening... perhaps we'll see you out? - we'll see.off to buy new bras [yay for no more poking metal bits]& to go check out beautiful furniture - mmmmm modern goodness!

first off, let me just say that i am ashamed to be called american today.i hate this stupid fucking war. it's not about peace for iraq, it's about oil for america.hate hate hate [i guess i'm keeping with the american spirit by doing that, aren't i?]in other news...my car was totaled by the insurance company, luckily the adjuster was VERY nice to me.i got enough out of my car to buy a saab - with an interior like a bloodclot [how fitting].it's cool though, i'm big pimpin' [or something like that]still haven't found a job - i think i'll do the lowest of low... apply @ kinkos. eeew, life sucks on the employment plane.i'm reading two cool books @ the moment... one, that makes all of my morrissey fantasiescome true Morrissey & Marr: The Severed Alliance as well as Cryptonomicon - another deliciously geeky read.hmmm, not much else to report. i'll be out friday night... will anyone be going to the spring ball thingee on friday?

had a blast last night... mat had planned a surprise get-togetheryeaterday evening [i was wondering why the hell he wanted to go tothe barca lounge before the merc - it was MY birthday after all... i found out soon enough]the funniest thing is that when we showed up, we saw some peoplethat we knew there... i didn't catch on until after they said happy birthday.duh - stupid me. so THAT'S why he wanted to go to barca so badly.afterward, we headed to the merc & i saw LOADS of people i hadn't seenin ages tony, karin, darren, celluloid_jam, realityhammer, gkr & many others that molested myever-so-tight corset [yay for my inner drag queen - i even had HUGE mylar lashes {silver & black striped} on, with red paint eyeshadow - tres sparkly].my boy is a good good boy...ooh, and i got loads of cool pressies as wella super-cool clock, some fabulous books and thatlovely orange drink from japan [don't ask me to pronounce it]ooh, and new sci-fi looking beads for my belly-ring - COOL!yes, i am super-spoiled & i am loving every minute of it!ps - phil, were you in "true kilt form" last night, or were you wearing panties? heeheehee!it was great to see all of you, i have missed you all terribly in my hermitting.

ok, get this... i went for a pre-interview today& of course brought my portfolio... big mistake.get this shite::i was turned down the job [that i could do in my FREAKING SLEEP] because, and i quote:"Your design work is too good, I would be doing you a disservice if i requested you for this position - you would be miserable there and would be sending out resumes the second day of employment"oh, and one more thing... he was worried about their politically INcorrectness [there were some ads that sported girls in bathingsuits - eek!] & how it would effect me - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! - he's kidding right?but, on a better note...when i got back... i got a callback [actually about four] from another job i applied for... hopefully this works out better than the last one. hmph!oh, and i'm meeting the people for the sitting room contract tomorrow night... wooo - drinkies @ the sitting room AND a good little contract! word.
